Jerry Bruckheimer - Exec Producer

 

One of the most successful producers of all time, he is a filmmaker who loves telling a story and delivers a visual feast unmistakably his own. Marked by his signature lighting bolt, he has produced over 30 films including “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “Black Hawk Down,” “Pearl Harbor,” “Remember the Titans,” “Armageddon,” “The Rock,” “Crimson Tide,” “Beverly Hills Cop,” “Flashdance” and “Top Gun.”

Bruckheimer brought the power of the lightning bolt to television and currently has five hit shows on the air with “CSI:New York,” the Number One show on television in 2003, “CSI.: Miami,” the Number One new drama of 2002, “Without A Trace,” the Number Two new drama of 2002, “Cold Case,” the Number One new drama of 2003 and the Emmy Award winning “The Amazing Race,” which was recently picked up for a sixth season.

Bruckheimer received the ShoWest Producer of the Year Award in 1998 and in 2000 the Producers’ Guild honored him with the David O. Selznick Award for Lifetime Achievement. In 2003, the editors of Entertainment Weekly named him the Number One most powerful person in Hollywood and in 2004 he was named one of the 100 most influential people in America by Time magazine. Also in 2004, Bruckheimer was honored with two People’s Choice Awards for “Pirates of the Caribbean” as favorite motion picture and “CSI” for favorite television series. His projects have been honored with thirty-five Academy Award nominations, five Oscars, eight Grammy Award nominations, five Grammys, twenty-three Golden Globe nominations, four Golden Globes, thirty Emmy Award nominations, six Emmys, eight People’s Choice nominations, four People’s Choice Awards, and numerous MTV Awards, including one for Best Picture of the Decade. To date his films have launched the careers of many actors and directors and have produced more than $13 billion in box office, video, television and recording sales.
