Directed by Norberto Barba
Guest Star: Kid Rock

When groupie Jessica Allen finds Kid Rock’s limo driver killed inside of his limo with his own gun, Mac and Lindsey rush to the scene to question the usual suspects. While inspecting the limo, Lindsay finds a piece of paper with a phone number on it, written in red ink. Mac confirms that the victim was shot through the neck, and notes that his belt is undone. Back in the lab, Sid verifies that the driver was killed in the car and that he had sexual intercourse shortly before the murder. After a second look, Danny and Lindsay find animal hairs on the victim’s coat. When they question the owner of the limousine service, they realize that Kid’s former driver lost his job to the victim earlier that day. Former driver Blake Mathers confesses that he went to the concert to try and get his job back. Lindsay hypothesizes that Blake was looking for the pre-released Kid Rock CD that the victim had in his possession. Danny and Lindsay question whether the enraged Mathers was at fault for the crime or one of the driver’s love interests.

Meanwhile, Mac gets a report alerting him that a shooting has taken place at Stella’s apartment. Mac enters to find Frankie Mala lying in a pool of his own blood; shot three times. Stella, battered and bruised, is rushed to the hospital and has no recollection of the crime. The nurse confirms that she was not raped, while Mac proves that Stella was the shooter. Hours later, Stella tells Danny that she never gave Frankie a key to her apartment. She broke up with him after he posted unsolicited sex photos of her on the Internet. She tells Danny that he broke into her apartment and assaulted her. With one of their own as the victim, the CSIs try to reconstruct the crime to set their investigator free.
