Guest Starring: Robert Joy as “Dr. Sid Hammerback”

Our CSI’s immerse themselves in the privileged world of billionaire latchkey kids and the “handlers” who provide them with the semblance of family, after the apparent guillotining of a lovely French tutor at a Marine Antoinette costume ball organized by Evie Pierpoint, 15 going on twenty-two. Battling obstruction from French officials and newly minted Inspector Girard (from Episode #311) who don't want to release the body, Mac, Stella and Hawkes must use what they find at the scene to uncover evidence indicting first one, then several other of young Evie Pierpoint's handlers, each of them more two-faced and self-serving than the last. When this case links to the death of yet another of Evie’s handlers – her shooting coach – there’s no room for coincidences: “everything’s connected”.

Downtown, Danny and Lindsay come across a case that appears to be pretty straightforward at first-- a world renowned chef has been impaled with a corkscrew in his own wine cellar. But the case slithers in an even creepier direction when Lindsay turns to see a three inch Madagascar hissing cockroach crawls out of the DOA's mouth. And not just any cockroach. A jeweled cockroach...covered in rubies and emeralds. Worth 100,000. The latest trend in "live jewelry". Our CSIs must track down who would think to put that much “bling” on a bug in order to get to their first suspect: a bitter restaurant critic who wore the "roach broach" the night the vic was killed. But an unusual piece of metal and sticker near the body point to the real killer.
